Love your photos. Love your books. Now that I've spent time in the pacific Northwest, I miss it. And I can't wait for your next book!

Do I need to read the books in order? I just checked out book one from my library and made an official request for the library to purchase Iniquity. It sounds fabulous!

Meredith, I'm often asked two questions: Should the books be read in order, and what is the order?

Both are excellent questions. While it's not strictly necessary to read them in order, doing so will allow you to fully appreciate the captivating character development arc that unfolds across the series. Think of these books as interconnected chapters in one grand volume, each adding depth and richness to the overall story.

Here's the order:

Indelible

Iconoclast

Impervious

Iniquity

Happy Reading!

Ah, yes, I remember reading and reviewing Iniquity and drinking in the setting you describe so well here.

Years ago, Cliff's parents built a house in view of Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens--on a clear day of course. This post reminds me of how much setting adds to a story's enjoyment. Brava, Laurie!

Marian, I couldn’t agree more! Cliff’s parents’ decision to build their home with that breathtaking view was brilliant. As a Sean McPherson novel reader, you know the landscape is more than just a backdrop; it’s a living, breathing presence that plays a crucial role in shaping the characters and their experiences. I can hardly wait for you to read Illusionist.

I read iniquity as as ARC reader and I have one big complaint - I am soo impatient for the next instalment!

Obviously for an author to write a series of books as brilliant as the Sean McPherson novels takes the time, care and attention to detail that Laurie Buchanan obviously puts into her writing, and as a reader I wouldn't have it any other way. But these books are so good I'm dying to get my hands on Book 5!

Jacqueline—Thank you for your enthusiastic feedback! It’s always heartwarming to hear that someone enjoyed one of the Sean McPherson books. And I love that you’re an ARC reader on the Sean McPherson Street Teamheart. I appreciate your patience and anticipation for the next installment. Rest assured, book five, Illusionist, will be in your hands the moment I receive it from my publisher. And I promise it delivers more twists, suspense, and attention to detail. Stay tuned, and happy reading!
