As we approach Halloween, I reminisce about the creative costumes Len and I have worn over the years. My all-time favorite? Len as a cereal killer. The best part? It's incredibly simple to make. Instructions below photo.
INSTRUCTIONS
Grab an old sweatshirt you don't care about wrecking.
Buy an eight-count Fun Pack of Kellogg's Breakfast Cereal (available at Target)—a budget-friendly option.
Adhere the hook-side pieces of velcro where you want them on the sweatshirt.
Adhere the loop-side pieces of velcro onto the backs of 6-8 cereal boxes.
While the sweatshirt is still on a table (flat surface, not on a person), insert a plastic knife (the kind for picnics) into the center of each cereal box.
Adhere the cereal boxes to the sweatshirt.
Voila! You have a prize-winning Halloween costume. If you go as a couple, the other person can dress up as a milk carton.
